Laziness and Doing Nothing

Our pastor had today a sermon on the Book of Proverbs about work 
and laziness. I liked it very much and I would sign almost 
everything he said, but I think there were two things which could 
use better explanation.

One was about the laziness. It is true that whole Bible (and 
especially The Book of Proverbs) are really hard on encouraging 
hard work and overcoming laziness. I completely agree with that, 
but unfortunately it can give a wrong idea. I spent years of 
trying to overcome my laziness and be a good lawyer. I have 
loathed myself for not being a good husband well providing for my 
family, for not working dilligently, until I finally crumbled was 
fired from my job and ended up in the outpatient psychotherapy 
care to sort myself out. It took me another couple of years of 
healing by The God’s Mercy to find out
