From 516b59befe621b570933c68f2e073ab28988000b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Ingo Schwarze Date: Sat, 31 Oct 2020 11:45:16 +0000 Subject: Delete a sentence pointing to "the Predefined Strings subsection of the roff(7) manual." Such a subsection does not exist, and i do not see why it should. Predefined strings are an obsolete feature of macro packages, not a feature of the roff language. --- mandoc_char.7 | 5 ----- 1 file changed, 5 deletions(-) diff --git a/mandoc_char.7 b/mandoc_char.7 index bd6754c8..de1ef177 100644 --- a/mandoc_char.7 +++ b/mandoc_char.7 @@ -709,11 +709,6 @@ Their syntax is similar to special characters, using and .Sq \e*[N] .Pq N-character . -For details, see the -.Em Predefined Strings -subsection of the -.Xr roff 7 -manual. .Bl -column "Input" "Rendered" "Description" -offset indent .It Em Input Ta Em Rendered Ta Em Description .It \e*(Ba Ta \*(Ba Ta vertical bar -- cgit
